Just a reminder that identity thieves are getting better and becoming more sophisticated all the time, and that documents should be transmitted using my secure document portal. If you e-mail information, I still receive it, but e-mail is not a secure way to transmit your documents to me.

I respectfully request that you do not text any documents or information pertaining to your tax return. Any documents or information sent via text will be deleted and you will receive a request to re-send via the portal. Documents with potentially sensitive information on my phone can easily be stolen, so I delete such texts immediately.

You are welcome to call Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm PST. I will always get back to you within 24 hours, except if you call on a Saturday when I am not working, it may take up to 48 hours. Please, no phone calls or texts on Sunday.

You are welcome to e-mail me or send documents via the portal any time you wish, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Cash, check, Zelle, or using the payment link I send are all acceptable methods of payment. Checks sent by your bank may take up to 2 weeks and can delay the filing of your return.
